In this section you can find vegan bags and backpacks made of non-animal materials.
In our offer, we have fabric bags made from the side of the women's cooperative LWH from Nepal founded by Nasreen Sheikh and fabric bags, produced from the side of the non-governmental organisation Skateistan, founded in 2007, which combines training measures with sport and skateboarding. Both LWH and Skateistan use locally cultivated cotton for their handmade shoulder bags or backpacks, which are then dyed, sewn and either embroidered or printed by their members.
On the other hand, we also offer you bags of the Egyptian label Up-Fuse, which in cooperation with the NGO "Roh El Shabab" has set itself the goal of enabling disadvantaged people to lead sustainable and environmentally conscious lives by "upcycling" or recycling apparently useless raw materials and selling them. Up-Fuse bags and backpacks are made of reused plastic bags and Egyptian cotton - the result are colourful and stable unique items.
Upcycling means converting waste products or apparently unusable raw materials into products as good as new in view of the dwindling natural resources. Unlike downcycling, this is upgraded. Especially in poorer societies, upcycling offers new marketing opportunities through this creative material misuse and offers help for sustainability.
