Linen production has a long tradition in Lituania. Traditional flax growing and linen production techniques are a significant part of Lithuanian heritage. At the same time linen is a much more sustainable alternative to cotton. Linen is made from the fibres of the flax plant. Since hundreds of years linen is valued for its high absorbency and quick drying. The Baltic and particularly Lithuanian, climate has always been perfectly suited to growing quality flax. We get our linen products from two sources in Lithuania.

Linen Tales
Linen Tales (or Baltic Flax) is a family business that has been operating for more than 30 years. The founders started trading flax fibers because of their passion for Lithuanian linen traditions. Over time, Linen Tales has evolved into a "full-service linen producer". Today, the family-owned company creates and produces home textiles and clothing collections from linen (flax) for small and medium-sized companies, supplies international brands and stores with European linen fabrics. The company offers full service up to finishing of linen (dyeing, printing, etc.). Their deep knowledge of linen, own production in Lithuania, small company size and high open-mindedness have allowed Linen Tales (Baltic Flax) to become a flexible and innovative production partner for many customers*. For Linen Tales, tradition goes hand in hand with innovation and success through collaboration. Linen Tales is proud of its products and takes responsibility for ensuring that they meet high quality standards. Linen Tales knows its goals and is not afraid to continually make demands on itself and others to achieve them and move forward.
Linen Tales was first introduced to the world in the home of the founders*. To show that the new look makes the home more beautiful, the founders* opened their living room doors to anyone who wanted to visit. They wanted to show how beautiful linen can be by combining the tradition and history of linen (flax) with a modern interior and contemporary designs. It all started with a reinterpretation of the fabric in a 16th century building. The founders wanted to preserve the Lithuanian linen traditions. The formula was more colors and softness. And it worked. What started as a small home store quickly became a brand with customers all over the world. Linen, a wonderful natural product from the Baltic region.
