Ivory Pakol with Striped Wool

This hat in ivory is a Pakistani pakol. It comes to you through fair trade by Gundara directly from Western Pakistan. The material is woven showing little stripes, giving the hat a nice little pattern. Pakols are the symbol of the resistance in Afghanistan, originally mainly worn by Pashtuns and then taken over by the supporters of the Northern Alliance around Ahmad Shah Massoud.

Size: About 55cm. One can alter the size by adding or removing material from/into the edging roll.
