In the Ileri family, the soap making tradition dates back to the late 16th century. At that time they were still suppliers of high-ranking personalities, for whom the Aleppo soap was reserved itself. In 2006, Ottoman GmbH started selling its own hand-made soaps in Germany. Small, traditional craft bussineses are still the basis of production and paying attention to details and tradition are still the focus of the company philosophy.
Our precious organic argan oil cosmetics are manually produced in the women's cooperative Marjana in the Southwest of Morocco, just outside of Essaouira. The organic argan oil production is a very good opportunity for local women to earn their own income. In the cooperative Marjana, women produce oil by hand. They open the shells of nuts and then they ground the nuts using a stone mill. Gundara's organic argan oil is excellent for salads, it is tasty and good for health.
The brand "FINigrana" stands for their natural cosmetics products such as pure vegetable soaps from Aleppo. They produce their soaps in a traditional and natural way, keeping focus on good quality.
Gundara offers wonderful sensual soaps (125g) from Soil & Earth, that come from India. The soaps are traditionally cold processed using pure essential oils and natural extracts. These soaps are available in different varieties, some of them are vegan.
