The paper owes its unique, pleasant scent to benzoin resin.

During a trip to Armenia, Auguste Ponsot discovered the disinfectant properties of the resin and subsequently decided to introduce it in France. Historically known for its antiseptic, healing and expectorant properties, benzoin balm has traditionally been used externally to treat asthma, coughs and hoarseness.

Instructions for use

• Tear a strip, fold it like an accordion, and lay it on its longest, thin side on a heat-safe surface. Light it and blow carefully so as not to burn the paper (Paper d'Arménie® should burn slowly).
• Papier d'Arménie® can also be used without burning. Tear up whole leaves and place them in cupboards, dressings, dressers, books, etc. They will be perfumed with a fine, delicate fragrance.
• Papier d'Arménie® can be used all year round to scent your home and create a feel-good atmosphere.
• Each booklet consists of thirty-six pre-cut strips of paper in twelve sheets of three.

An advice

• Burn a strip 3 to 4 times a week
• Air your home regularly
• Never leave a burning strip unattended
• Do not leave the product within the reach of children.
