A friend of ours recently went to Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, and met our producers. He is reporting the following on our leather bag producers there:

Yeah, they're quite a couple! Sankara and Leonard work 4 km from Ouaga. They arrived at my hostel where we were supposed to meet, perfectly on time. Both of them are disabled from the waste down. They were confident to be able to fulfill the task. They showed me some of the bags and sandals that they do, quite a good job! It's been 10 years that they have been producing leather items.

How easy and pleasant can communication across continents and meeting up be!
